What you get at the end

A report, written for you rather than for a file: which topics are solid and which are not, how your student’s own confidence compares with how they actually did, what their pace means on a timed section, and what the distance to each specialized high school really looks like.

It also shows you two moments from the session itself — your student working, and the tutor teaching — unedited, so you can judge the teaching rather than take our word for it.

The report is yours to keep. There is nothing to pay and no card to enter.

Before you start

Have your student sit down with a pencil and paper somewhere quiet. It is a real hour of math, not a quiz — they will be asked to explain their thinking, and the tutor teaches when they get stuck.

You will be asked for a parent email at the start. That is where the report goes.

The assessment covers SHSAT math. Its figures are estimates from a single session and are not official DOE scores. School cutoffs are approximate ranges from recent admission cycles and move year to year.
