A class of twenty teaches the middle of the room. A recorded course teaches everyone the same thing in the same order. Here the plan is ordered by what your child's own assessment found, and it is re-cut every week as the sessions happen.

That is $2.50 a session, about $1.67 an hour, paid once. A human SHSAT tutor in New York runs $100 an hour and up, which is why most families buy six sessions and hope for the best. This is twenty-four sessions.
The weeks you have left, spent on what is actually wrong
No sitting through topics your child already has. The assessment finds the gaps in one session, the course starts on them in week one, and nothing is re-taught that does not need to be. That is where the time comes back.
Repetition on the schedule, not in the small print
A topic taught once in week one is mostly gone by exam day — the oldest finding in the study of learning, and obvious to any parent who has watched a child ace a Friday quiz and blank on it in June. Every week's fourth session goes back over earlier material. Week six teaches nothing new at all.
The test techniques, not only the math
Estimating to eliminate answers. Plugging the choices back in. Picking numbers. Knowing when to leave a question. And the single most expensive habit on this exam: answering the question that was asked instead of the one you solved.
Open at eleven at night
Sessions are scheduled, but the lessons and question sets never close. Your child can work ahead, go back over a topic, or run extra sets on a weak category without waiting for the next session.
How it works

The assessment. One sitting, no grade, no time limit. The tutor talks to your child through real SHSAT questions and finds out where the marks are going. You get a written report the same day with an estimated math score and what it is costing.

Your course plan. Six weeks, topic by topic, in the order that assessment says to teach them — with the gaps first and every topic on the SHSAT math syllabus somewhere on the plan. You read it before you decide anything.

Your four times. Pick four days a week and a time on each, plus a start date. Those slots hold for the whole six weeks. They move only if your child finishes a stretch early or a topic needs another session — and since it is one tutor and one student, there is never a class to hold up if something comes up.

The sessions. Signing in lands your child straight on the tutoring page — this week's session, this week's lesson, this week's work. The tutor teaches from real SHSAT problems, watches every answer and every hesitation, and the plan moves accordingly.

The last two weeks. Full math sections under exam conditions, then every question missed on them taught again from the mistake. Your child walks into the real thing having already sat it.
