The college board makes available excellent practice questions (exactly indicative of the real test) through their own site, Khan Academy, and the Blue Book designed to replicate the actual test experience. These are all free, excellent resources that students should use, which we incorporte into our training as well.

As a result, many students believe they can train with only these resources in the last month or two before the exam. Some can if they have already mastered the core test concepts in full. However, the vast majority of students are probably not maximizing their results without even realizing. There is a reason students pay for SAT course preparation. The official questions and the college board will not help you learn how to take advantage of the test design. Outside courses will, and the results prove it.
