Participation is as simple as completing the brief information sheet when you sign up for the Free Level plan and take any of the free SHSAT student handbook exams!

You will be enrolled automatically and potentially be matched with existing financial support programs offered by ourselves or any of our partner firms. We will contact you if there is a match. Please do not write in to ask if you qualified. TestPrepSHSAT.com has the unique ability to track many factors of your performance and different partners may support different criteria or qualifications. For example, the best scaled scores may not be the correct qualifications so it is of no use to get Albert Einstein and William Shakespeare to take your math and verbal handbook exams even if that were possible. One of our own programs focuses on under-represented demographics that score within a statistically equivalent range. Others might focus on students who did and did not take prior classes in Algebra so there is no one set of criteria to qualify. Your best chance is to allocate some quiet time (75 minutes per exam) and space, have pen and paper handy for taking notes or making calculations, and give each handbook exam your best effort. In addition, make sure you provide true and accurate information on your original sign-up form. Any errors or incorrect information could disqualify you from participation. 

If you qualify for a matching support program, then PassNYC.org, ourselves, or one of our partners will contact you with further details. You will be matched with ourselves or any number of other partner tutoring and SHSAT test preparation firms. Our hope is to effectively marry the resources available with historically unidentified student talent to give every student the best possible chance to gain admission to the specialized high schools.
